I narrowed the problem down to svn commit 16572 (plus 16573), which
causes Windows guests to suddenly disappear while running Windows
Update.  This sounds a bit different from your problem -- the guests
have no trouble starting, but do crash while doing certain tasks, e.g
Windows Update.  The problem certainly has to do with networking
somehow, but I don't know what causes it.
