Default Linux emulation for FreeBSD on all but 8-CURRENT is still a
2.4 kernel, which is likely too old to handle VirtualBox. If I
remember correctly, the 7.1-RELEASE will turn on 2.6 Linux emulation
by default, but I have no idea if that will help anything. I've never
attempted building or running under Linux emulation on FreeBSD -
everything I've worked on has been FreeBSD native.
