This looks like the linux header files in your install are somewhat 
different to what we have ever seen. Could you check what needs to be 
included to get __attribute_used__ defined? The 2.4.24 sources I have 
access to define that in include/linux/compiler-gcc*.h, though they mark 
it as deprecated. Do the includes you have provide a definition?
