Hi,
Thanks for the patches. However it would help if you described briefly
what problems the different changes attempt to fix and in some cases
explain why they fix it...
The cpuid bit seems kind of clear, though it seems to work fine here on
GCC 4.1.1. But just to be sure, I've redone the functions for AMD64 with
-fparanoid=200%... it should work fine for everyone now (I hope).
The next patch dealing with host registers in qemu isn't at all obvious.
However taking a look at what was checked into qemu yesterday explains
it. I will take that patch from upstream later today or tomorrow
depending on when I get down to it.
The last bit is a nice catch. I've changed RTPROCESS back to a fixed
sized 32-bit like it used to be .
