Hint handling was actually one of the things which should be fixed. Remembering saved modes is not compatible between old and new Additions (I could have fixed that, but normally it will only be needed once, when you upgrade, so I preferred to keep the code simple and hopefully reliable), as the new mechanism works for all guest screens and not just the first one, and saves more information. Expect that to change again once in the near future though I'm afraid.<br>

The problem I had yesterday is fixed. I didn't try to recreate the<br>
new one. I haven't noticed any thing different except, I actually<br>
installed the test build for OSX instead of just the GAs. Something<br>
that has changed is, the guests no longer remember what size they<br>
were when shutdown. Normally I have all guests set to 1920x1080 and<br>
when I start them they opened to that size. Now they don 't.<br>

Second try<1>, hopefully with the first regression fixed. I have<br>
already found one new one myself: I started a terminal, switched to<br>
seamless mode, switched to a virtual terminal and back and<br>

switch back to seamless. Result: the second guest screen was<br>

0x0 resolution (checked with xrandr) and blacked out.<br>
