Good day Michael,

I do use saved state on that machine and it did start to a black
screen. I did a complete boot and it was the same, nothing would
show, just black, not even a tty window. I turned off 3D and
booted into a tty windows and installed the GAs, turned 3D back on
and no change just black screen. As for the changeset I
showed, I have no idea what is causing the issue but it looks like
it is host side code.
Reverted to the previous build (51242) and it works great.
Attaching a different log.
I see "Changeset 51243" Additions/x11/VBoxClient: make

Maybe I am missing something that is needed?

I'm sorry, but I have trouble understanding from your message
exactly what is going wrong. The log seems to show that your
machine did not boot up at all due to a problem with a saved
state, but that doesn't fit in with what you said about a
"sluggish" display.

And did whatever issue you are hitting come after updating the
main application or the Guest Additions? The change set you are
pointing too is in the Additions.
