      Trying to attach the VirtualBox Guest-Additions.iso to the CD/DVD

      drive produces the following error.<br>

      <br>

      Failed to save the settings of the virtual machine (name)<br>

      Setting the non-rotational medium flag rejected as the device<br>

      attached to device slot 0 on port 1 of controller 'IDE Controller'

      is <br>

      not a hard disk.<br>

      <br>

      Guest is Windows XP pro and I have been installing additions the

      same old way for a long time.<br>

      Really doesn't matter the guest though.  I tested this on several

      guests Windows, Linux and none of them work.<br>

      Ideas on how to proceed?<br>
